Grains are high in protein and can be a good substitute for meat or fish.
Chicken, peas and lentils are still a staple in many grocery stores, so here are a few recipes that represent legumes. In addition, you can temporarily replace meat, but not less protein.
Pea pancakes
Inputs drop-
- Peas – 1 tbsp.
- Eggs – 2 pcs .;
- Flour – 4 tbsp.
- Onion – 1 pc.
- Spices – 1 tsp
- Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp.
- Salt to taste
- Greens as you like
Cooking
Wash the peas for a few hours, overnight.
Drain the water, pour boiling water (To 2.5-3 tablespoons) and cook for 40 minutes. Salt at the end.
Drain the water, transfer the peas to a saucepan and mix together with the egg and randomly chopped onion. Then add mayonnaise and flour. Mix well, add spices and herbs if desired.
Grease the pancakes in vegetable oil until golden brown.
Lentil Pat
Inputs drop-
- Red lentils – 100 g
- Carrots – 1 pc.
- Onion – 1 pc.
- Walnuts – 30-40 g
- Butter – 50 g
- Dried garlic – 1 cent
- Salt, pepper, dill – to taste
Cooking
Wash the lentils, cover with water in a ratio of 1: 3 and cook for 20-25 minutes until soft.
At this time, cut the carrots and onions into small pieces, fry in vegetable oil until smooth. (Up to 5 minutes).
Place the lentils, fries, softened butter, nuts and spices in a blender and mix until smooth.
It is better to eat cold.
Beet cream soup with onion
Inputs drop-
- Beets – 350 g
- Chicken – 100 g
- Cream – 100 ml
- Onions – 50 g
- Paprika, sunny hops, turmeric, curry, cinnamon – 0.5 tsp each (Available)
- Water (Or vegetable soup) – 700 ml
Cooking
Wash the chickpeas overnight. Then drain the water and soak in fresh water for 30 minutes.
At this point, slice the onions and beans into small pieces and place in a deep frying pan for 8 minutes. Add half the spices.
Cover the beers with water or broth and cook for 35 minutes.
When the mushrooms are soft, pour in all the ingredients and whisk until creamy. Add cream and mix well.
Transfer the boiled chicken to a saucepan, and sauté with half of the sauce for 10-13 minutes.
Divide the soup into bowls and fill with roasted onions.
Lent with champion
Inputs drop-
- Green lentils – 1 tbsp.
- Champions – 250 g
- Onion – 1 pc.
- Garlic – 1-2 cloves
- Carrots – 1 pc.
- Salt, pepper, spices – to taste
Cooking
Wash lentils, cover with 2 cups of water and cook for 20-25 minutes.
Sprinkle with finely chopped onion and garlic until clear. Then add chopped carrots to them and sauté for another 3-5 minutes.
Cut the mushrooms into thin slices and add to the vegetables. Bake everything together for about 10 minutes.
Then mix the boiled lentils with the roasted mushrooms in the pan and sauté everything together for 5 minutes if desired.
